Gerald Alders will remain in the Telstar uniform for next season. The 21 year old defender has been loaned out for the second year in a row by Ajax. Alders joined Telstar in January last year and was part of the team's incredible achievements, where Telstar managed to maintain its position in the Eredivisie on the final day of the competition with a match against FC Volendam. Alders managed to make a good impression so he is certain to play at Telstar again next season. This time, he will play under coach Henk Brugge, replacing successful coach Anthony Correia who has now moved to FC Utrecht. Alders has appeared in nine games for Telstar and has played in five games for the Ajax first team. At Ajax, Alders' contract is still valid until mid-2028.
