Roma Continues to Monitor Arne Engels in the Transfer Market

Roma are showing interest in Celtic's Arne Engels, competing with Napoli, Milan and Crystal Palace for his signature.
AS Roma continues to monitor the transfer market with the aim of strengthening the team's midfield ahead of next season. One of the names that has caught the attention of the club from the Italian capital is Arne Engels, a 20 year old young midfielder who plays for Celtic. Engels has impressed in the Scottish League, making 46 appearances, 7 goals and 8 assists in the last season, which helped Celtic win the Scottish Premiership title.
However, Roma is not the only club eyeing Engels. Apart from Napoli and Milan, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig have also shown interest in this 2003-born player. Even so, Crystal Palace appears to be the most serious club in the hunt for Engels with the intention of immediately making an official offer.
Celtic themselves are in no rush to let Engels go, with his market value around £25 million. Previously, they rejected an offer from Nottingham Forest in the winter transfer window, showing a desire to retain their young talent until a more attractive offer emerged.
