France's chemistry and talent shone through as they dominated Sweden 3-0, with Kylian Mbappe scoring twice, setting the way for a promising World Cup campaign.

The French national team showed extraordinary strength in the match against Sweden, achieving a 3-0 victory that not only reflected their sharpness in finishing chances, but also the spirit and unity within the team. Kylian Mbappe opened the scoring with a stunning goal, then ran straight to the bench to hug coach Didier Deschamps, who was returning to the pitch after attending his mother's funeral. This moment was very emotional, with the whole team then coming together to celebrate.

Deschamps, who recently returned, stated, "The team is united and they performed well in my absence. The spirit of the group does not guarantee victory, but if it is not there, you can lose. Collective strength is more important than anything."

Midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni added, "We know the coach is facing a lot, we are trying to give our best to make him happy."

Bradley Barcola doubled the lead before Mbappe added his second, now level with Argentina's Lionel Messi on six goals in the race for the Golden Boot. Former England striker Ian Wright stated, "You can't stop this kind of ability. France are one of the strongest favorites I've ever seen in a World Cup tournament."

Patrick Vieira, the 1998 World Cup winner with France, added: "They showed everyone they are the team to beat."

An incredible combination between Mbappe and Ousmane Dembele resulted in six goals in the US, with Dembele providing four assists to Mbappe and two assists from Mbappe to Dembele. France have now scored more than three goals in five consecutive World Cup matches, an unprecedented feat.

With a thrilling performance that left the 80,000 crowd in the stadium questioning who could stop France's "Class of 2026", they looked ready to right the wrongs after defeat against Argentina in the previous World Cup final. Despite creating 25 chances—their highest total in a single World Cup match since 1998—France managed to score 13 goals in four games in the US, displaying extraordinary individual statistics.

Ousmane Dembele, the Ballon d'Or winner, had six goal involvements (four goals, two assists), and Michael Olise, showing his worth on the world's biggest stage, became the first player to provide five assists in a single World Cup tournament since 1994.

"Michael played very good football," praised Deschamps. "He is the link between the offense and defense."

If France manages to beat Paraguay, they will face the winner of the match between Canada and Morocco in the quarter-finals. However, Deschamps refused to look too far ahead, saying, "Please, slow down. We've just reached the last 16. Let's enjoy this. We know what is expected of us. We have to stay calm."
