Pafundi Has the Potential to Join Carrarese, Held by Coach Gabriele Cioffi

Simone Pafundi, after a difficult season at Sampdoria, could be loaned to Carrarese, where Gabriele Cioffi, his former coach at Udinese, would welcome him to the new project.
After an unstable season at Sampdoria, where he only managed to score one goal in 26 appearances, Simone Pafundi could potentially be loaned to another Serie B club, Carrarese. Udinese apparently has no intention of keeping this 2006-born player in their main squad for next season.
According to a report from La Nazione, Carrarese is preparing a new project following the departure of coach Antonio Calabro who has completed three successful years at the club. During this period, Carrarese proved capable of developing young talent, both those owned by the club and those on loan. Therefore, this could be an opportunity for Pafundi to continue its development.
Apart from that, there is another factor that could influence Pafundi's decision to join Carrarese, namely the presence of Gabriele Cioffi in the coaching position. Cioffi is the figure who gave Pafundi his Serie A debut in May 2022 and provided more playing minutes after that. It is believed that Cioffi can provide a central role for Pafundi in this new project and help him showcase his talents that have not been fully explored so far.
