Inter are seeking to extend the contract of Pio Esposito, who is currently attracting the attention of Napoli and Manchester United.
Inter Milan are in the process of securing Pio Esposito's long-term future. According to transfer journalist Alfredo Pedulla, the Nerazzurri are ready to make a strong commitment to the striker who recently celebrated his 21st birthday. Esposito has put in impressive form after returning from loan at Spezia, where he scored seven goals in Serie A and helped Inter to the domestic title.
Esposito has also had the opportunity to play for the Italian national team, scoring a goal in a friendly against Greece, which was one of the positive moments for the Azzurri who failed to qualify for the World Cup last summer.

In a video on his YouTube channel, Pedulla explained that although there was interest from foreign clubs, such as Manchester United and Leicester City, it was old news that had been circulating since January 2025. "When I told you about the situation involving Manchester United and Leicester, it happened before he stayed at Inter," said Pedulla.
He also mentioned that Esposito's performance in Serie B attracted the attention of one of the big Premier League clubs. "Pio was noticed in every game at Spezia by United. Napoli also considered signing him last summer and were prepared to spend big on transfer fees and wages," he added.
Regarding the contract agreement, Pedulla revealed that Esposito is expected to sign a five-year contract worth around 3.5 to 4 million per season, plus four million as a fixed component, with other bonuses.
