Hearts Officially Signs Tom Renaud from Versailles

Hearts have officially signed midfielder Tom Renaud on a four-year contract, making him the second French signing in a short time.

Hearts have confirmed the arrival of midfielder Tom Renaud on a four-year deal, making him their second French signing in a short time. Previously, the Edinburgh club also announced that they had paid an undisclosed fee to bring in striker Sabri Guendouz from Belgian club Beerschot.

Renaud started his career at Lorient's academy but never managed to break into the first team, so he spent two loan spells at third-tier club Cholet before joining permanently in 2022. During that time, Renaud has made 112 appearances and scored eight goals.

After moving to Versailles in 2024, Renaud made 24 appearances and helped his team finish in 13th place, before playing 32 times last season and helping his team finish in fifth. Although he didn't score a goal with Versailles, Renaud managed to provide seven assists. With his arrival, Renaud becomes Hearts' seventh signing of the summer.
